Today is December 31st, the last day of 2009.  Much has happened this year, my whole world turned upside down. But like any good kitty, I have landed on my feet with minimal damage.  Life has taught me many things. One is that you have a choice. A choice for how you choose to live your life. Life does not "happen to you" it is a direct result of the choices you make. If you are not happy, make choices that bring you happiness.  If you are not mentally fit, choose to find a way to become so.  If you want health, choose to make healthy choices in your life. If you desire abundance, choose a path to obtain that abundance. I work in a skilled nursing facility with the elderly.  I see the results of lives lived well and the bitterness of those who have not.  My wish for all of you is that this next year you choose well. Life is short, choose happiness, choose health, choose abundance, choose goodness and kindness.

Funny how I came across this actually. It was around 11:23PM at night (right now, while I'm typing), when I decided to check up on any BandAMP updates. Not able to find any, I browsed the forums, looking for any online users... Nope, just me.

I look down... Birthday members... And VK, you were one of them!

So... Happy Birthday, as delayed as this one might be.

But the main point - I wish I could've seen your post earlier... There's a lot of decisions I regret making in my past year at high school, but I guess it's important now to realize that the future isn't really fate, but a choice.
